Highlights of InnoCarnival
Over 300 workshops tailored for children, youth and families will be offered to nurture their boundless creativity.
Around 70 programme partners, including local universities, research and technology centres, professional bodies, youth education organisations, government departments, technology enterprises, will set up pavilions/ booths to showcase their innovations and research achievements, as well as cutting-edge inventions from winners of major science competitions to showcase the notable achievements of Hong Kong’s students.
Science Workshop for Kids
Different thematic workshops will be available for kids and families to learn basic science disciplines under a relaxing atmosphere.
Members of the public can sign up for around 300 guided tours including Green Concept, Green Trail, Robo Journey and Ageing in Place Experience Tour, to visit the facilities in the Science Park so as to gain a better understanding of the local development of innovation and technology.
Science Competitions and Prize Presentation Ceremonies
Various programme partners will also organise innovation and technology science competitions and prize presentation ceremonies during the Carnival to enable the public to witness the talent of the young people in Hong Kong.
With adaptation of new trend and applications of new technologies, a series of exhilarating interactive games will be installed in the Carnival to test how swift and responsive the participants could be.
The InnoThon entails individual, group and family categories. It aims to promote healthy lifestyle to the industry practitioners and general public, as well as encourage the public to better understand how we can apply innovation and technology in our daily lives.
